Open Range Coffee Steak Rub builds a dark, savory crust on anything you throw over the fire. Slow-roasted coffee brings a deep, smoky richness, brown sugar caramelizes into a steakhouse bark, and kosher salt ties it all together. Rub it on, let it sit, and sear — that’s it.

Great on: ribeye, NY strip, sirloin, burgers, brisket — and yes, salmon. Even portobellos.

I’m not a coffee drinker at all, so I was a little skeptical about trying a coffee steak rub. But I was pleasantly surprised! It doesn’t taste like coffee—it just adds a really deep, savory flavor to the steak. The seasoning creates a great crust and brings out the flavor of the meat without overpowering it. Definitely a rub I’ll be buying again!

Amazing spices. I have the taco, creole, and steak seasoning, and they’re all great! I used the taco seasoning on both groud beef tacos and enchiladas, and the whole family loved it. The creole season was great on a sea food boil that included shrimp, crab, sausage and corn on the cob! My favorite is the steak seasoning. I don’t drink coffee at all, but I bought it for my wife who loves coffee. Little did I know this would become my favorite of the three.

Love that stuff ! And after about a month, it looks like I need to reload soon. I never thought coffee had any place near a steak, but now I’m using it on just about any meat - and not just for grilling. Importantly, this rub appears to seriously aid during searing in retaining the natural juices in the meat being cooked WHILE it is enhancing the flavor & tenderness.
Someday maybe Open Range can explain how a coffee based rub leaves no trace of a coffee taste yet really enhances the flavors in my steaks and burgers ! I don’t even butter baste beef being grilled anymore like chefs recommend !

I am so impressed by these seasonings! They are flavorful and delicious and they have quickly become a staple in my kitchen. The quality is amazing and the ingredients are clean! Great job Open Range!!
